Professional Development
IUS values the importance of continuous education and offers a number of ways to supports professional development of its staff.
Professional development can be done either in-house or externally.
In-house Professional Development
IUS Life offers young people and adults an opportunity to acquire and maintain skills, abilities and competencies needed to adapt to a continuously changing environment by offering a number of courses at IUS. Depending on the type of a course, IUS employees can register certain courses with reduced tuition fee. Please see available courses organized by IUS Life at the IUS Life web page and check if a discount is offered for a particular course.
Also, all IUS employees have the opportunity to develop professionally by taking online courses within the professional learning and development platform Qedex.
External Professional Development
IUS supports professional development of its staff through various activities organized by institutions other than IUS. These activities include conferences, symposia, seminars, workshops, etc.
Also, IUS academic and administrative staff interested in mobility in other countries through exchange programs (Erasmus+, Mevlana, etc.), need to check for open calls available at the IUS International Relations Office web page.
